San Pedro on Film - San Pedro in Disguise
On Sunday, September 20, 2026, the San Pedro Heritage Museum will present SAN PEDRO ON FILM: SAN PEDRO IN DISGUISE, a live talk event at the Grand Annex (434 W. 6th St.)
Hosted by Joshua Stecker (San Pedro Today publisher), the 3 p.m. program will explore the port town’s recurring role as a chameleon on film and television using clips from notable films, TV shows, and commercials shot in familiar businesses and parts of town that were transformed to look and feel like another place and time.
The program will also include historical photos, fun facts, raffle prizes, merch, and more. Several artifacts from the museum’s collection will be on display.

Tickets will also be available at the door (cash and card accepted). Doors open at 2:30 p.m. Feel free to go all out and dress up in your best disguise!
Raffle tickets will be available on site for $5 each, or five for $20. Proceeds from tickets, merchandise, and raffle sales will benefit SPHM, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

About the Founder - Angela Romero founded the San Pedro Heritage Museum in 2018 to identify, preserve, and promote the unique history and culture of San Pedro. While she would not see her dream fully realized, her legacy was long established before she passed, and together we are dedicated to her vision.
